Considering ECUFlash on my IX
I personally would highly recomend TTP, Jestr, or Sean Ivey in the way of base email flashes. Those guys have it down really well.
Ecuflash supports AEM, and sounds like MJ will have mitsulogger supporting it shortly. Nothing but good things learning how to tune your own car. Just dont go to crazy till you really have a good understanding of what you are doin.

I appreciate the reply and am currently talking to TTP about a setup. Their reputation proceeds them in I read nothing but good reviews on these forums. I will probably go with ECUFlash to start and then switch to "Unilogger" once MJ has it setup for the AEM UEGO. I probably won't change much of anything until I really realize what is happening with the car. Last thing I need is to rush and blow something up
You will always need ECUflash to flash and read your ECU.
Correct. That much I have come to understand. EvoScan for wideband logging w/ the AEM and ECUFlash to flash/read what's going on in the little brain she has. Thank you again for all the help. You have a new pm ttp
Not to speak in too broad of terms, but the Evo 9 responds very well to flashes. Most e-flashes available on this forum, Jestr, Dynoflash, TTP and etc will give you good gains over your base map. If you are a do-it-yourself type of guy - definetly start out with a vendor's map, it will help you understand what values were changed and why - from then on you can start logging and making small changes to see if you can squeeze out a bit more power.
^^^What you said. =+1
