My logs using the Innovate Motorsports LC-1, LMA-3, OBD-II cable, & LogWorks2
Any tuner heads out there???
After many hours of road tuning my own car after my initial Jestr M1 flash i must say that i am even happier with the way my car is performing...all the below is on 91 oct....yes....91, i know it sucks...at first i had an issue with the stock solenoid so i went with the slowboy racing MBC, then i had an issue with my boost gauge reading EXTREMELY FALSE numbers (like a 4 lbs difference, dang autometer gauge) so i went ahead and purchased the Innovate Motorsports LMA-3 and tuned out the rest of the car myself...
Below is my datalog doing 18lbs @ 3500rpms, peak boost of 24lbs @ 4000rpms tapering to 18 @ 7500rpms using the LMA-3 3-Bar Map sensor....i do have an LC-1 but i am waiting for the serial link cable to log both, so i can only log boost or AFRs using the Open port plug-in with the OBD-II plug...
Here are my AFRs....ranging from 11.55 @ 3500rpms to 11.32 @ 7300rpms
Chime in and let me know what more can be done or what do yall think!
Thanks for looking!

I would consider going back to the stock boost solenoid, or trying out the GM 3-port solenoid that the WRX guys are fond of. That way, you won't have to adjust your boost controller to limit the peak spike (which I'm guessing is the case with the MBC) and then have it taper off in the upper rpm range. With the solenoid, you can keep the boost from spiking too high in the midrange and keep it high on the top end.
Or get a good EBC.

Go here to see what all the LMA-3 does...

and it was very easy to install....i removed the center console and placed it on top of the airbag control box....its a nice flat spot that allowed me to mount the LMA-3 for the "G" reading...

First, am I correct in assuming that your boost line has been smoothed? The boost line does not usually look like that, it is more jagged.
Second, Even though you are not knocking, I would not run such lean and high boost numbers on 91 octane gas. If you continually log over a period of days, you might notice more knock.
Third, I am happy to see that you are taking advantage of Logwork's wonderful ability to integrate it all for us EVO owners.

Actually no....its whatever the program is set to...the reason the other lines look a bit jagged is because those were logged off the OBD-II cable with LogWorks...the LMA-3 and LC-1 log at a pretty high sample rate compared to the OBD-II logs...
i was told that i can tune for 23lbs on 91 oct....what would you recommend?
Also, i thought 11.5-11.0 was a good AFR to tune for...

I would not run more than 21-21.5 lbs of boost on 91 octane gas. But I am very cautious and conservative when it comes to tuning. Others might disagree with me.
Also, i thought 11.5-11.0 was a good AFR to tune for...
Personally, I will stay away from 91 octane all together and run a mixture of 91 and 100 to get the manufacturer recommended 93 octane gas.
I only use 91 octane in emergencies.

it looks pretty healthy to me, I found that by fattening the afr up towards redline i was able to run more timing...this took me from 121mph to 125mph traps on my Stealth. I'll try the same principle with my EVO once I get the WB02 setup.
