unlocker program ?

Does the unlocker program unlock my ecutek ecu and all me to flash with ecuflash?

If so , will this unlocker make my ecutek map erase?

Any help is appreciated.

I realise this is old, but I have the exact same question:

If you unlock the ecu, "freeing" it from Ecutek, do you just loose the map, or could you pull the map off with openecu and use it as a base for your own tuning?

Don't know about US laws, but over here that is perfectly legal for non-comercial use (i.e. you paid for the map so can mod it on your own car as much as you want, as long as you don't use the map to, let's say, try and start your own mapping business on the hard work of EcuTek)
