Understanding load

Well coming from tuning with uberdata, and NA cars. This load is new to me. Why is there more then 100% load? I max out at 260 load on ecuflash but when i log i get 310 max load. Should i configure my fuel maps to go that high? Then also im reving to 7800 so ahould i also reconfigure my RPM maps to go to 8000rpm. Sorry for the n00b questions but im just trying to understand the program.

Uberdata, a honda guy. Okay so its like this more or less, imagine the "load" as a VE table that doesnt directly correlate to a VE value (like some standalones, Crome, etc.) Load is a function of: MAF hz / Rpm *852. So as a measurement of airflow, load is a marker to establish your tuning cells. It would have been easier if it had been a straight VE table (100%=0" vac, 200%=1bar, etc.) but in a MAF system rather than a MAP I spose it makes sense.

Yea i came from NA hondas, Ok im getting it now, but why am i running higher load the what the ECU is set for, i would think that with out fuel maps and ignition maps for that load it would shut down. but eaither way it sounds like i need to set my load cells higher.

Some open air filters can throw the MAF HZ off, and then your load calc will also be higher than you think it should be. If you are not getting knock, go by the ignition timing number on the log and then locate it in the map.
