ECUflash,280's,1000cc, & 35r!

So a long while ago, i started a thread about 35r and ECU flash, seeing that there are quite a few people that are running the stock ECU and a 35r and making decent power. I however havent done this on the stock ecu,, and its seems that Im doing everything it doesnt like:
Cams w/ 280 grind intake exhuast.
GT35r
1000cc injectors
there are a slew of other things done to the motor but for agrument sakes let keep it basic. I have the same precision 35r used by every other retailer out there. I have a set of very popular 1000cc injectors.... so impedance/flowrate should be around the same if not identical to other. And my cams are simliar to every other 280 cam out there. For now im going to be running it on pump gas 93 octance. from that same tursted station i have been using for 2 years now! boost will be set to about 20-22 psi
I plan on tuning this myself. Just to get more falimiar with the stock ECU and learn a few things.
Added this to make my goals more clear!
Soooo.... The point of this post would be to use this as a guide for people in the future and really document my progress as well as others. I think that the stock ECU is capable of alot of things. Maybe its cause Im used to DSM Link! I was even thinking of rewiring my ECU to accept the 95+ DSM Eprom. again some of this is a rant, but im sure you get the idea. Im going to need some help here and there So all are welcome !

You posted the fact that you are going to get it dynoed right as I was posting my first message, and if you read your first post it really makes 0 sense as to what you are asking or questioning or telling us about.

I've installed & tuned my EVO with a 35r & 1000cc injectors, basically the same setup as you less the 280 cams (have them, just not installed yet). The car idles and drives 100% like stock with this setup now that everything is dialed in fuel trim wise. you're going to have a lot of fun with that setup, keep us posted on your reults... I remember your original post.

Well, my concern is now that we are in Boston, we're coming up on a season change. Which is Great. Cause now is the worst time for the motor and tune to get ALL of its winter cold start ups over with and some hot starts as well. My point is that i want to have a very well balanced ECU tune that i can drive around everyday and not worry about drivablility TOO much. ( i know there are going to be some)

Well the fact that your getting it tuned pointed me towards that assumption, and if your putting all this money into your car and not bothering to strap it to a dyno I would be very surprised and shocked.

Good luck with it!

actually. didnt get a hold of the car, but uploaded a quick map that i got from a fellow member to make my fist startup alittle easier. So far i raised the idle, scaled to about 1000, but taking some fuel out... I checked Compression across the board. Looks great. Got a brand new set of Sparkers! Vaccum lines are tight, did a pressure test, to 50 psi that worked out. Got all new T Bolt clamps and hosing. I missing anything ?
