2.3 with 35R other bits, ecuflash, almost ready

should be firedup this weekend!

waiting on a few things, like a new knock sensor (old one walked off somehow..), valve cover gasket, and to get the intake mani/tbody back from PPI.

should be fun..

JAM 2.3 motor stage 4 head.... gt35R .63... PWR fmic.... 880s on pump...1000's sitting here for when we go C16....

snow alky more than likely going on also...

should be fun to see what it does...

ill keep you posted... here are two other small threads on the car....

Chad, I've got a question - why change injectors for the race gas tune - why not run the 1000cc injectors all the time? It will be interesting to see how well it tunes out on the ECU. It looks like you will be pushing ot the outer limits of it's capability. Your project is stunning by the way as is your shop.. Very nice and I suspect that thing is going to be a beast!

The 880's are going to provide better streetability than the 1000's for one thing..

Getting 1000cc's perfect for daily driving jobs is pretty tough..

I assume thats why he is going with the 880's for pump/meth

im goign to be running 1000cc injectors on my 2.0 gt35 w/ a .63 AR ... we almost have the same project. Be interesting to see how it all works out, i dont think that the 880s that i had would provide enough fuel for me, and i actually think the 1000s are going to be better as a DD from talking to various people on a similar setup

I saw that you are fabbing a steel tank for the injection setup. Will there be a bladder inside, or will the alky/methanol actually touch the steel? I was wondering about the corrosion issue with methanol. Is that just a problem with aluminum tanks?
