Innovative 02 Replacement?

I was reading and it said that the Innovative wide band controller has both a high voltage output (for wideband) as well as a low voltage output (for narrow band) is there a way to simply splice the low voltage into the factory harness so your not running two 02 sensors?

This is assuming im using the stock 02 location and no cat.

Our widebands have two analog outputs. Both are fully programmable. You can simulate a narrowband controller or a program for wideband output with different curves and ranges (to match different logging systems). You can also do weird stuff like simulate a narrow band, but shift the representation of stoich to trick your car to run at, say, 1.05 lambda (theoretical best economy) closed loop.

You can take an analog output and feed it in place of a factory O2 sensor. However, you might also have to put a 20W load resistor on the factory heater circuit to avoid a check engine light.

what ohm resistor does this need to be? and you said 20w, is there really that much power going through the circuit?

I did some reading today, it seems a 12-15 ohm resistor should work ok. the resistor will get very hot, the higher the power rating (wattage) the cooler it should be, but you can't leave it anywhere with combustibles

fighter garage in pensacola did this with my friends lc-1. it works but he throws a permanent o2 sensor code...and the wideband readings are kinda off since its so close to the turbo..
