Value for injector scaling using 660cc injectors??

as the title says does anyone know whats the exact value for using 660cc injectors on the ecu?
the original injectos are 560cc and they are set at 513 on the ecu so 660cc should be set at x??

if i asume the following situation:
513=560
x=660
560x=338580
x=33850/560=604

then i would set them at 604cc
do you guys think it would work?
thanks for any help

It might be close but it will still need latency changes in order to keep fuel trims as close to zero as possible.

It will probably be more of trial and error. Try and ask someone who has successfully upgraded injectors and tuned them to idle smooth.

Your injector scaling should be about 15-20% less than the injector size. So your 660 injectors should have a scaling of around 530-560. This is just a rule of thumb and your car can vary. You also need to adjust your battery voltage injector latency table to get your fuel trim witin +/- 5-10% from 0.

The injector scaling on your JDM Evo 8 is 542 and NOT 513. If on a USDM car 513 scaling=560 injectors, then your 542 scaling should mean a larger injector than 560, maybe 590 injectors? That should be the case if we follow the same logic. Anyone know what the injector size of a JDM Evo is?

yep in my car its 542 i would also like to know the injector size of my car?? this is a friends evo8 which is a USDM he has bigger injectors on his car and how do i change the injector battery voltage table do i add 5% to the values it has until fuel trims at idle are close to zero? and thanks for the tips nj

It all depends on what kind of injectors you use. I have precision 660cc injectors and use scaling value 585. Also, changed the latency values about twice longer. It is just me. some tunners don't even change the scaling at all.

^^^^yea way back I got flashed for larger injectors and what not,but now that I am getting into ecuflash I check the scaling on my car and my friends stock car and the scaling is the same 513, and they are also 660's so now I am trying to figure out WTH? hehe

i have FIC 650's in my car, and they are scaled to 513. i had them scaled bigger, started at 550 and kept throwing the injector bank lean code, so slowly kept scaling them smaller and smaller until i was back to stock. i don't throw the injector bank lean code anymore, and the duty cycles are much better then with the stock injectors at the higher RPM's.

i've installed FIC 650 injectors in another persons car as well, and it was the same situation. ended up being right back at stock scaling. however in both cases i used the AEM voltage latency for the FIC650 's.

Tkz thats good to know I think I will have to get in touch with you when I am gonna "try" to install and scale some 880's I will be purchasing for when I upgrade my turbo.

I have 660s with stock scaling and it runs and idles fine (based on my wideband and datalogs). I think this may be more of an issue if you have 280s or otherwise have a finicky idle (I have 264/272). Bigger than 660 would probably be a bigger issue also.
