tuned our 2.3 evo project car with ecuflash...

hey guys,

we did some tuning yesterday on our JAM 2.3 with stage IV head....

gt35R .63 hotside... 850 injectors...

car started off around 260whp at 12psi... (stock evo's make about 220ish on our dyno)

With 25 psi on pump gas we were able to make 441whp/358 wtq...
backing it down to about 23.5 psi, and running more conservative I was able to make consistent 385-390whp and 330ish wtq.... but... the wtq is over 305 from 4300 to 7000 rpm, which is amazing....

ill post some charts this coming week, its been a long hectic past week.

cheers

our dyno reads quite low.... comparable to buschurs...

the car lights up the tires in first and is sideways through second, with 265's the whole way around

on race fuel I think we will see 500whp easily on our dyno, which is about 600 on a dynojet (nothing to sneeze at on a stock ecu'd car)

by the way... 365 whp on our dyno is about 410 on a dynojet... so you need to take that into consideration

stock cams,

i have some custom GSC's coming, greg thinks they are worth another 30wtq or so...

should be a monster....

- your car is pretty awesome too, 2.3's rock for the street... mine purrs so nice, JAM balances and tolerances the balance shafts... its smoother than stock... we can rev to 8200, but im keeping her to 7400

the AFR is off because of a leak in the nice RNR o2 housing lol before both of my widebands... this was 25psi through the entire pull, to 7500 rpm, i backed it down to 24 psi and lowered the power to 385whp for now.

im probably going to throw the wideband in the primary o2 spot to check it...

Great work! Look forward to seeing this beast when you install my GSC S1's in the next week or so!

Not sure if i want to get on your dyno. I'll be dissapointed when my 8 only makes 270whp with cams. LOL
