Anyone else with these Evoscan problems?
Well Ive been trying to get my Evoscan.99 to work with my Zeitronix wideband and am having some issues. First of all I cant get it to read my Zeitronix. How are you supposed to set up the wideband? I selected the Zeitronix in the wideband option and it is the right comm port, anything else? It just keeps reading random numbers. Here is a example of a log.

You get the idea.
Next I cant get a running log. It seems the TPS is stuck at 9.0196 and the RPM is 1031.25, the log tracker that shows the received data time on the right works but the logger just keeps repeating those same values. I tried going back and running the installer again and it didnt help. Any ideas?

Yeah,
I got a speeding ticket the other night doing a 3rd gear log.
The cop looked a little surprised - I guess from the mph going from 30 to 85 and back to 40 in 3 - 5 seconds.
Other than that no real 0.99 Evoscan problems

I have no problems with evoscan .99 and my zeitronix. It was a challenge to get the drivers to work for the serial/usb cable is was using. Can you log with the zeitronix software? If so, it should integrate into Evoscan pretty easily. I ended up using COM4 although everything else was telling me to use COM3.

Also when you are in Evoscan and you see the Device setup do you have to set anything different? Right now I changed the BaudRate to 9600 for the Zeitronix and the USB cable is checked. However, I have the Zeitronix plugged into the Com1 port, is this why its not working?

Does your laptop have a serial port; or are you using a serial to usb adapter? If you are using an adapter, you need the drivers for the adapter, then you need to go into device manager for the laptop and designate a com port to be used with the usb. In Evoscan I have the baud set factory at 15625 and usb is checked under device setup. You might also try going to Wideband in Evoscan and 'select wideband serial com port' to make sure everything is all on the right port. Good luck. Also, I have heard that some serial to usb adapters work better than others.
Mine says error from com1. The day before it logged the AEM WB perfect.Everytime I try to log it now the fans turn on till I turn off EvoScan.Oh and all the boxes uncheck. Then I uninstalled it ,reinstalled it.Now it works fine till i try to log the WB again.
