anyone?

If you are going through with the drilling (keeping in mind older manifolds etc have the holes already drilled or you could always source one from UK...which is not cheap)

I would have to remove all the hardware to find out... unfortunately not going to happen.

two banjo holes, each have two holes drilled into them from the side. for a total of four.

If you are going to drill, you are not limited by the stock sas piping and could make it however you wish...

how you drill the almost horizontal holes into the larger banjo bolt holes would be a real challenge. I originally thought the same as you, but when I was inspecting the manifold, I was very happy it was not even attempted.

I have posted in this thread and others that as sone as someone that can make me the table that I want to fine tune my anti lag I will post up a how too. I have working anti lag now, but I would like to refine it. I am using a usdm 9 ecu on a usdm 9 with sas valve and lines, everything else is factory usdm. Like I sad, anti lag can be done, but my request for the table has, I guess, been ignored or considered not a priority. So I will wait patiently

Hello !

It is working in the Eu Evo 9 RS ( factory equipped sas sytem ) with 88580714 V7, the ecu didnt cut the fuel when lift off the throttle. max timing retard was -20 degree.
Bajno in the Sas was stock yet . The main thing it is working from the Ecu.

Yes, it's also my experiment that fuel is not cut when lift off with 88580014

Did you check if SAS valve was opened or solenoid operating? You can check solenoid operation with Evoscan by inserting command CB (Start datalogger, set custom request to CB or 0xCB, I don't remember...). Anyway with this request, solenoid should "click".

Can you please post your setup for ALS?
No other modification in timing maps?

The settings is nothing special. At all it isn't popping bigger or harder with the working ALS function yet as did an other EU Evo 9 no sas and als code, -20 degree timing only when you lift off the throttle ! What I like is adding fuel... Now need air thru the sas bigger bajnos and or bigger lines, or maybe with a throttle kicker or air bypass valve.

I didnt test the solenoid but I will !

If I set lower value than -20 in the timing retard limit 1 and 2 table than the Ecu will not pull down the timing... So max retard is -20 .

In the Ecu and the rom what control the maximum timing retard limit ? If we know the right code of the table ? Why can't retard more ? Where is the differences between the Evo 6 tme rom -27.5 degree, Evo 9 -20 degree, Evo 8 with v7 9653 -10 is maximum what I can set...

Here is the settings : http://img534.imageshack.us/img534/6132/sasm.png

NB: my rom is 94170715 can i change it to 96531706 ?
i did the patch for max retard limit.

You need to wire the solenoid to the ecu. that controls vacuum to the air.valve.

Hi Guys, I have a JDM TME 6.5. 27370001 ROM I have been trying to get the ALS System and stationary rev limit to work but no luck. I can get it to backfire slightly with the low load retarded ignition but thats not using the SAS.
I am wondering what else I need to set.

Currently I have setup the usual ALS settings.
Air injection time 0.0 0.3 0.6 1.1 1.3 1.3 1.3 1.3 0.9
Fuel injection time 4.8s
ALS Min load to trigger 80
ALS load below which active 45
ALS min coolant temp 50c
usual other settings

I have no BOV atm as it was an atmo
should I try increasing my Fuel injection time to 10s instead of 4.8 and upping the 2D air injection table? maybe upping the ALS min load below which active?

Also I have seen mention of diabling the EGR valve...do I need to do this..no sure if there is even one on a TME

Thanks in Advance

Matt
