PS nice touch with the identification of the parts size with the tag.

I have noob question.

Is it safe to assume the orifice that is machined in the "pill" will go facing the same direction as the stock pill? I have never taken the plumbing apart so I am not sure but I think it would simply go with the orifice in the same direction as stock. If it were backwards it would defeat the purpose or advantage of having the orifice in the first place right? Oh well it's late and i'm rambling.

Thanks again for the parts. Now to get the wideband and install boost gauge so I can install these. patience is a virtue and money a limiting factor

One more thing. There are two stock pills one on the solenoid side and one on the turbo side. You remove the stock pill on the turbo side and insert the new pill in its place. After that you need to set-up the BDEL+BCLO correctly as well as the WGDC. This has been covered many times in this forum.

 

I am little bit confused on which pill, for some reason. can diagram it please?

 

It's in the shortest hose in the boost assembly. It comes off the black discharge pipe that comes off the turbo compressor housing.

At the T in the line, there is a hose going to the actuator which has a red marking at the end, and another line that goes to that discharge pipe on the compressor housing, that is where the pill is that you replace.

 

Read almost the end of this link where it has a picture of a T that he is pinching the hose with his hand.

No...There is no pill in the wastegate line. The Solenoid line is the one that has the stock pill. Keep the stock pill in the Solenoid line.
