I then tried to read the current rom... and it wont connect or read it. I cant reflash my stock rom either...nothing. I searched and read something about the imobilzer code. hmm ask the person who you got the rom from which tuner did their tune. Could it possibly be locked? I've never run into a locked rom so I don't know...do they completely stop you from writing over them?

Its your immobilizer code....if you tried using a ROM from someone else's car this was most likely over looked and not changed...

Open your ecu flash then open your oem rom, check immobilizer and see what it says.If it dosent match with the new flash then you will have to edit it to work.

^^ I think a few people are missing the OP's post where he says he can't read the rom that is on the ECU now. Until he can get that solved there is no way to change that code.

ok... well, i believe the rom i flashed is on the ECU... would this be the reason why i cant start? I have my stock rom saved, but where do i look up the immobilzer code? and yeah, i cant even read the ECU now... so i dont know how im going to fix it? funny thing is... my EvoScan logger will still connect to it and i can tell it is reading because when i start the logger( not moving of course) but when i modulate the throttle the voltage goes up etc... ECUFlash just wont connect to my ECU for some reason.... i tried re-installing the program and nothing... and yes this is a supposed base flash from another evo 9. I'll try that lock ecu fix u guys mentioned...
