i have just had the engine check light come on in my 2001 jdm evo 7. the only mod is a 3" cat back exhaust. i recently flashed a 2001 jdm evo 7 ralliart rom into it and after bout 5 mins of driving the engine check light comes on. i can clear it with scantech but after 5 mins it comes back on.but i dont have this problem when i am running the standard ecu rom in it. the error codes are:
P0136 - oxygen sensor circuit malfunction (bank 1 sensor 2)
P0141 - oxygen sensor heater circuit malfunction (bank 1 sensor 2)
does anybody know what these errors actually mean? i am new to this so am still trying to workout what exactly is wrong with them. any help would be much appreciated!!

 

Try disconnecting the rear O2 sensor and see if that helps. Some of the roms make assumptions about whats connected to it. Its entirely possible the ralliart rom is using different inputs in some way. For some reason the Bank1 sensor 2 thing doesn't sound right to me, as I don't recall that being anything for either the front or rear O2 sensors.

 

so is it telling me that it cant find the rear 02 sensor signal because it is posibley wired up in to different input pins?its not going to effect my engine if i run it with the rear 02 sensor off is it?
