I remember. I do have a new version with a few kinks worked out. Unfortunately, OS X Leopard broke a few things and my build system doesn't work right now. Do you want to try building it yourself? The CVS tree is publicly accessable.

I just posted a new build this morning.

Version 2.01 is a bugfix release only. An official leopard build is available for download.

Is there any support for widebands yet? Specifically the AEM? And what about JDM MAP and 2-byte load?

thanks a lot donour for opening up this possibility.

All of these things are possible, but I just haven't had time to add more functionality. Full source code is available if any programmers want to take a hack at it.

In a related note, pyXede, one of my other programs, can read afr/lambda values from the Xede's 5v input. So, if you have one of those...

Got my cable... all is working well on my macbook. The first 5 times i connected it timed out pretty dang fast. after that all is well. Since im a noob to this whole thing, im not sure what all the items are that this is logging. is there a list somewhere that breaks down what all these items are?

Sometimes it times out. I haven't figured out why, but I've never had it do it 5 times in a row. Does it still timeout for you?

If you have questions about the meaning of a logged datum, just post here and we'll explain what it is. For example TPS is the throttle position sensor.

Each time it times out now it takes longer and longer to do it. It was only those first runs that i had problems with. Since then its worked flawlessly.

Not yet. It's a total pain, I agree. I have written the little bit of code to show it works and how to do the logging on OSX. However, a fairly hefty bit of the code will need to be rewritten. I just haven't had much time.

For those of you who don't know. I'm working on my PhD right now. All the time I don't spend on that, I'm racing. Unfortunately, this is one of those projects that only get a few hours every couple of months.

So I'll put out a call again. And mac programmers want to take a stab at it? Most of the heavy lifting is done. What remains is taking working code and porting it to a new interface.
