Timing : Fuel?
Just run less boost and keep the tune reasonable. Adding fuel is similar to less boost. It's the power that will heat things up too quick, especially overtimed.
But your absolutely right - I would never run WOT extended as it is now, but that is not what I use the car for - it's used for going to work really fast and several 1/8 mile runs each Fall

So right now, my car is pretty much stock with the exception of the 3" TBE and K&N drop-in filter. However, I'm seeing as high as 3 counts of knock (knock sum)
amd it's still on the stock ROM. Can this be attributed to the increased airflow from the exhaust/Filter?
I want to make sure everything is in proper working order before having it reflashed. So another question is... what constitutes too high of a knock count.
Doesn't the ECU start to pull timing around 3 counts?
