AFRs in Germany?

Hi to all.
A short question.
Which AFR do you recommend from 6000 to redline here in Germany?
We have the autobahn and sometimes you drive quite a long time in these rpm range.
Is it better to lower from 11.5 to 10.5 from 6000 to redline in this case?
Which AFRs are you running on race tracks?

AFR should depend on the timing, not really the duration. If timing is off you might have to have it rich.

Nonetheless, whatever you try just monitor knock throughout longest 220KPH pulls.

Just got back from there, what a nice place. I liked it so much I will be going next year again, not for driving but for bicycle riding

Ideal system would enrich the AFRs to control the EGTs (this is what Bosch do). They can also protect the engine by closing the throttle and reducing boost.

I would not do heavy use on the autobahn on a tuned Evo without an EGT gauge.

I would think that you can cruise at roughly 120-130 mph without being in boost. Maxed out in top gear for extended times though.... you might start melting some parts

What fuel are you running? I'd probably lower it a bit from 11.5. If you're running > 98 RON, then I'd maybe shoot for between 10.5 and 11.0. As has been stated, EGT gauge would be a good idea just to keep an eye on things.

This is exactly what I was thinking. If Mitsu tuned the car like they did the US car then I would pull fuel but keep it in the 11.0 range or maybe a tad richer. In my opinion it would be determined more by your mods than anything. Running a really restrictive exhaust (i.e. stock) will elevate the EGT's alot more than the same AFR with a nice turbo back or at least high flow cat and good cat back.

Thanks a lot to all.
Yes I have a EGT Gauge, and the EGT comes a little bit up because i have the OEM cat. The exaust ist a a 2.75" one. Mostly I use 98 ron, sometimes 100 ron gas.
Mitsu have done two ways to reduce max speed. Run rich at redline and runs into 7000 rpm where power drops.

I would get a metallic high flow cat on there.
