I would spend some time doing a free-air calibration as well as a heater calibration

In the future you should try and avoid connecting or disconnecting any of the ports labeled IN or OUT while the unit is powered ON. I have made this exact mistake before myself
So basically just connect the LC-1 serial cable (in my case via serial-usb adapter) to my computer like I normally do, turn on the LM programmer and make sure its at "Gasoline" and I should be set? How does the setting change from Gasoline? I'll check this out tomorrow...

Thanks

I wonder if the LC-1 can be upgraded to the LM-1, I have considered the AEM UEGO which I'm sure is significantly less expensive then the LM-1...

Yup, that's basically it. Then run a free air calibration and heater calibration just to make sure it's reading properly. It happens from unplugging it from the small serial port while the car/sensor is on. I did it by accident and this happened. I figured the sensor had gone bad but after talking to Innovate, I got it squared away.

Same symptoms - it logged correctly in logworks, it was down at 5-6 in evoscan.

Sounds good...Thanks!

BTW, I've done my free air calibration with the bung still in the car, now i know the best situation is to take it off and what not, but I've been told waiting 5-6+ hours for the car to cool and have all excess gases emitted from the exhaust pipe can be pretty accurate, any opinions?

I saw where Klaus suggested using a shop vac to flush out the exhaust. think you have to hold the throttle open. not wise if you can smell gas or if you are carbed.
never tried it myself, sort of close to a darwin thing.

if you read correctly on logworks then it can't be calibration.
are the evoscan numbers correct if you place a ten in front of the readout. 4 or 5 being 14 or 15?
hmmm, if max power says it works , give it a try.

That's what I'd like to think, adding 10 to the evoscan numbers makes it seem right with logworks...what does this indicate?

Did you check what I said? There is no way it would stop working due to 2byte load or changing the injectors. I have 850's, pump, 2byte everything and it works fine - until I unplugged it and it did exactly what you are saying.

If that doesn't fix it, I would be suspect about your LC1 cable. You can always get in touch with tech support at Innovate, they were very helpful.

For free air calibration without removing the sensor, I let it sit about a day or so. Of course it's not my daily driver so I usually go longer.

No problem - since I make a lot of mistakes, I have to ask for a lot of solutions - at least I can pass on the knowledge lol
