My problem is that my wideband sensor hooks up to the PC using a com port or serial port however you would like it to be stated but my computer does not have a com port i just bought the PC to tune and now i cant any suggestions like can i hook it up in another fashion like com to USB port thank you and i hope i am posting in the right forum area thanks in advance.

Radio shack and computer stores sell a Serial to usb converter. I run my Lc-1 with a converter.

Once your wideband is connected to your laptop with the converter. Open the device manager to see what com port the wideband is on.
