2 byte versus Load calc
2 byte versus Load calc
So i did this 2 byte mod and installed my Apexi intake!
can some pls tell me why with evoscan when i view the 2 byte it reads over 300
and with load calc it is in the region of 260-270.
Why is this!
there are no more cells in ECU flash over the 300 zone!!

have you changed your injectors?
There are no cells past 300 on the stock map. You can re-scale the table to add cells past 300. It's very common to get pst 300 load when you get a few mods bolted on.

naa!
stock setup just a TB exhaust, testpipe.
i know it not difficult to get past the 300 but what i am saying is that if i read load cal it peaks at 260.

I would trust the 2byte over loadcalc, but also reference the timing/rpm you're seeing at x load and see what column that puts you in. Keep in mind that you might not see that exact value due to the neighboring column/rows having some influence on what the ECU actually uses for timing.
Doesn't 2 Byte over 300 seem strange to anyone else? I have quite a few mods (K&N Cone - Helix TBE - Hallman MBC - Walbro FP - Nisei LICP - AGP FMIC) and only hit 280 peak load @ 24psi
Trending Topics
Recently I have seen spikes of 280-290 with about a 25psi spike, based on my Defi gauge which I don't trust.
ShamelessCookie, can you share with me what does your boost profile looks like with the Hallman. I spike around 1.7 bars on my boost gauge, for just a second then it drops off to 1.6xx and so forth. Where do you spike to achieve 24psi or do you spike 24psi for an instant like me and then start to taper off from there???

Thats a good point. I am right around 290-295 peak with my mods. With c12 I was seeing around 320 ish. He should be spiking 30psi to see those loads with a stock turbo
There is no way i am even close to 30 psi
so that is why i have this question!!
maybe the 2 byte load mod doesn't work so well on the EDM ecu
intially i thought that i need to scale my MAF for the Apexi intake.
but then i logged normal LOAD CALC and the peaks are the same before the apexi intake.
they both at 260, so clearly the MAF does not need to be rescalled because of the intake.
and also i had no idle issues what so ever with the intake!!
only thing i have noticed is slighty higher intake temps!
so why is my 2 byte load so high!!
I am confused.

3000 - 4000 >> 24psi
4000 - 5000 >> 23psi
5000 - 5500 >> 22psi
5500 - 6000 >> 20psi
6000 - 6500 >> 19psi
6500 - 7000 >> 17psi
Have you checked in your timing map for which load column you get 6 degrees@3500 rpm (like Mellon suggested)?
