reflash question

Hey, I have been reading that a reflash is a good idea for anyone with a few mods done. I have a short ram intake, 3" dp with cutout, cat back exhaust, ebc, ic pipes, bov, ams intercooler, act clutch, and a 10 lb lightweight flywheel. Is it worth getting done? If so what kind of gains can I expect and where can I send my ecu to have it reflashed?

Reflash. Were you tuned for these mods at one time, made no changes, and are talking about getting an update; or have you added something since your tune; or are you running these mods on a stock / unflashed ECU?

Anyway, you could probably gain from any of these, but the first one, depends on the tuner and any updates to that flash.

I am running these mods on the stock ecu. I never had it tuned or flashed the ecu before. do you think I would get a noticeable power gain.

HOLY **** are you serious?!?!?!? Please get it flashed... It'll be the best investment right now. Your probably down on power right now and it'll be a noticable difference. Expect anywhere from 20-40+hp. I just have an intake, MBC, and TBE and i made 272 on 93 octane on a DynoDynamics. Before the tune an Evo with those mods make aroud 230 or so.

Definitely. In fact, you should actually tune the car with even your intake and exhaust (I doubt you'd kill the motor, but its a good idea).
Even 100% stock cars benefit from flashes. Dynoflash guarantees 20whp from a reflash - though it doesn't say anything about a case of not having mods.
With your mods - you will definitely feel a difference in my opinion. Check out Buschur's site, as he has dyno charts with different stages of mods. You would fall somewhere between stage1 and 2...

Where would you recommend sending it to get reflashed?

Im a big fan of Jestr. Especially now that he is doing touch ups on the flashes. I had his tune for 93 and loved it, but was getting some knock. Now he upped his prices, but he does touch ups like i said. Just make sure you get the tactrix cable, download Mitsulogger (Free from activematrix.com) and EcuFlash.
