i just downloaded ecuflash but it wont open????, when i click on the icon on my desktop, it asks if i want to install evoscan., i say yes and the computer does its thing....it'll say intallation complete then thats it....it dont open., click on the icon again and it will go through the whole thing over., doesnt ask or tell me anything else. Does it have to be hooked up to the car to operate? please help!!!

 

I would try uninstalling EcuFlash and EvoScan completely, rebooting, and reinstalling them.

Neither program requires the computer to be hooked up to a car

 

stop clicking on the installation icon...

go into start->programs->evoscan and click on evoscan...
