lol no problems.

The biggest problem with patching is supporting the many varients of ROM ID's out there. It's very time consuming, I've got a bunch of features in my ROM that I would like to port to USDM ROM ID's but time is an issue...

I've already been working on something similar. Its still in development phase. The key benefit of this method of boost control is that the BCS can be held at 100% duty cycle until nearing the desired boost level. This gives the fastest possible spool with a given set of restrictor pills. However, both his setup and my setup in development (not the one I already posted) have only a rudimentary feedback loop that will not precisely control the boost level like my current direct boost control setup. So there is a trade-off. At the moment, I prefer the more precise boost control. Eventually, someone will develop an algorithm that has both elements.

Also, on a MAF car, Bez' setup keys off of load so its not a direct boost control setup. It would only be direct on an Evo converted to speed density (like his).

It would be awesome to be able to reference both RPM and load for boost control.

Very cool stuff. Too bad I couldn't understand a work of it. The boost table looks useful though ...

We need someone who understands what Bez is actually saying to talk to him and see how he has done everything.

He has done SOOOO much already

Anti-lag style two step
no lift to shift that chooses the rev limit based on your gear and RPM
Ability to set final timing
And much more

If someone could understand him we could have this technology for the masses.

I've been watching whats been coming from him carefully. The SD thing has me drooling.

I think its time to set up a Bez translator fund to get this stuff ported into all available roms. And FAQ's setup for all of it.

So he can focus on cranking out new stuff, and we can use it immediately.

Thats a great idea. I would be in for donating to that fund. Maybe tephra can do the work if we pay him.
