rescale rpm axis?

A fair bit has been written about rescaing the load axis via ecuflash, but is there utility in rescaling the rpm axis as well? I vaguely remember a discussion about this a while ago, but cant seem to find it.

I'm pretty much done tuning my WOT stuff and am working on my tuning the partial throttle portion of my maps.

I seem to be getting a bit of knock around 3750 rpm at partial loads. I'm thinking about getting rid of one of the lower rpm rows and adding a row at 3750 to do some fine tuning.

Does this make sense? Has anyone else re-scaled their rpm axis?

thanks in advance.
