I just had to log less things. Logged only RPM, TPS, Timing, IPW, knock and WB and it worked.

EvoScan will work with anything that uses MUT protocol. That's one of the features...

All I had to do was increase the timeout to a high number.

Yeah, but before I tried it and couldn't get it to work. Even talked to evo4mad and we couldnt get it to work. that was with .98 or .99.

Anyways, got 1.0 to work.

it should work with any 2nd gen DSM that has the 4g63 in it. The 2nd gen turbo cars are OBD-II compliant.

That's what I would like to know. I just picked up a 98 GSX and would love to be able to flash my ECU usin ECUFlash. Has anyone tried this, or is anyone working on it? I'm pretty sure there is a lot of interest in this in the DSM community.

I tired to pull the ROM from a 97GST but had no lick.

Well, my understanding is the 98/99 ECUs are different than previous model 2gs. I think I'm going to try to download my ECU ROM sometime this week.

Yes I know DSMLink is the way to go right now. I was just wondering if anyone has/is trying to tune late model DSMs with ECUFlash.

wont work because u need an eprom ECU and a way of writing to it = DSMLink chip which gets socketed into the ECU

I have a 98 GST Spyder with the plastic ecu and I was able to log with no problem on v2.0. I am curious about flashing the ecu as well.
