do me a favor, next time one of you guys go out, punch first gear to redline, and disengage the clutch at a normal speed dont lightning kick it to the floor. Tell me what you feel.

I noticed you have to be quick pushing the clutch down, otherwise it cuts fuel with the clutch still engaged and you get a big shock.

When I was at the DSM Shootout at Buschurs shop, Dynoflash Al was there and showed me a new lightweight and stronger mustache bar that shaves off over 10 lbs and is stronger too, to minimize the thump. It also had solid bushings. Basically, its lighter, stronger and still effective in its design. Check it out if you want.

instead of starting a new thread i decided to bump this one. today is the first time i tried the nlts and the first 3 shifts my car revs up to 7700 and then im thinking man this cant be right. so i decided that i would try it again but this time it worked right and so about 5 minutes later when i got to a stop sign i thought i would try nlts from 1-3 gear but this time i make it through 1st gear and im going into 2nd and all the sudden the cel was flashing for knock for a few seconds and the car would not continue at wot and it felt like i hit maybe boost cut which was really odd and i had to let of the gas and then give it gas again to keep the car going. im not sure what was up with that this morning and i was hoping maybe somebody could tell me. ive got the rpm drop set to 700

This is exactly what happens. No mystery here gents. Just kick it to the floor as fast as possible to prevent the fuel from cutting faster than the clutch disengages. And in 2nd + 3rd gear shifts, let the clutch out a little slower(just a little) to prevent hard engagements. Your mileage may vary, of course.

The clutch switch is INSANELY INSANELY INSANELY sensitive. If you even so much as have your shoe graze it during a run it instantly triggers fuel cut which is exactly that, 0% injector duty cycle. The car instantly stops like you hit boost cut or...a brick wall if it happened during peak torque. I'm not sure if dropping below the TPS threshold triggers fuel cut too or if it simply disengages the NLTS all together. I've meesed with this a LOT since Tephra posted it and I have had multiple instances come up...all being ME hitting the clutch pedal somehow.
