Okay, I am not very good at describing sound but I will try. Driving at spped limited and getting ready for a right turn into my development. So I put the EVO in neutrl left of the clutch and THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP, everytime the wheel made a complete revolution at big jolt, thump ,bump or what ever you would like to call it. SO I make the right and stop. Pull a little forward and it was still there. SO I shut of the car and wait a few minute figuring out what the hell I am gonna do. Start the car put it in first and a semi-loud clink came from what sounded like the front diff. Took oof and everything was fine. What in the hell could that of been. THanks for any input.

Wasn't a screw, i could feel it in the tranny or diff or whatever. But thank you for your wonderful insight.

 

If it was me, I'd drain the tranny and front diff and look real close for pieces of metal. Also look at half shaft CV joints for obvious damage. Maybe just take it to the dealer.
