92 other than Cenex was selling E20 enhanced "94 octane" for awhile. The only reason I know it was that much was any car that ran it instantly went 0.5 AFR leaner. The Shell 92 here is most likely the same thing as 93 though judging from what I have done on pumpgas with it.

So at 91 octane at this elevation (6K), should I run .2 points richer than your cruise boxes?

If it doesnt have high levels of ethanol in it, I would only richen it a tad because of the altitude...or wait...no? Less oxygen means less fuel so I would leave it where it is. Do you happen to have a WB? I am not sure of the correct answer to that question since I have lived my whole life at or near sea level.

10% ethanol

This is just for my 91 map. I will then be using E85 while in state...

I've been running this mod for a while now, and i notice after a long hwy drive (like 10 mins) I get an odd "rotten egg" smell when I pull up at some lights...

any ideas?

If you have the cat, its that, but I'm not sure why it does it.

Your cat. How lean are you running the car at cruise?

Running that lean is tough on the cat. It causes it to get really hot.

Many OEM cars have ran lean burn with cats. Honda started lean burning with the civic CVCC but the first one with a cat I can think of is the VX model in 92. Later in the 90's they had the HX model. Now cars like the insight are lean burn as well with cats.

What does clog cats is running overly rich (boosting a lot on the stock fuel maps), leaded fuels, sulphur in fuel, etc.....

It would be interesting to see if those cars run metal substrate or traditional ceramic cats.
