Ahh, I see what you guys are saying... I guess I looked at the graph too fast.

This weekend I am going to try and get a log, a full 1/4 miles type pass. (We don't have 1/4 miles here is SC (Charleston).. So, I usually go out to a road that is so little traveled. I really am wanting to see what a log like that looks like in my car.

but, in other news... the logs look good
I had the same experience. 116 was the best trap I could get in 4th gear bouncing of the rev limiter of 8000.
Now I have an Evo VIII 4th gear. Trapping 117 at around 7100.

ShamelessCookie - you can get at least 116 traps before you will need 5th.

I may be a puse but I don't spin the motor past 7600. I don't make power up there and once north of that you start to see cap studs let go.

Wheelspin looks similar on a log as well. My last weekend in Roswell, saw logs like that in first every run.

Mine really starts to fall on its face at 8300. On the stock turbo it always pulled hard to 8K so thats where I would shift. On the street I have gotten away with 6* at 25psi at peak torque (lots of other variables probably allowed me to do that). Even with cams and a Green at the same boost I am running 0-1*.

Up top though is like what everyone else is saying 13-14* tops seems to be all the car wants on pump. On race gas I get a few more degrees but the car still seems to only like 17-18* maybe 19 on occasion.

How many lbs/min were you moving for those times?

I'm coding a web-based log reader that does dynamic graphs

Oddly your tune and airflow look great but those times are pretty slow.

My stock clutch is toast and my shift points were a bit high. I figure I can trap 110 with better shifting, which equates to low 12's on a good launch... but with a gross burning launch and sub-par shifting, I can only make 12.7 or 12.8 hehe
