Zeitronics Calibration

does anybody know how to calibrate a zeitronics wb02??
been logging today and getting readings of 13.7 to 14.1 between 3.5k and 4k
with no knock on my evo 5 Rs on the stock map that aint right surely
running on 99.2 ron fuel at stock boost, I have a sard FPR reads 44psi and walbro 255l/ph pump fitted, when I turn on the WB it reads between 14.7 and 15 on idle and then shoots to 21 on lift off throttle,

It auto calibrates itself. No way to do it manually.

When you say logging, you mean under WOT, right? Not just cruising around?

14.7 at idle is perfect. 21 is because injectors shut off on lift off and because it does not read any leaner than that (1.43 lambda)

You do not need to calibrate the Zeitronics WB. The AFRs at idle are normal, and the 21 when you let off the throttle is normal. The ecu tries to maintain 14.7 at idle, but it will fluctuate a little. When you let off the throttle and it shoots to 21 that is because the ecu actually stops injecting fuel, or it only will inject a small amount, becuase the engine doesnt need to return to idle. It will not harm the engine because you are running under no load when you lift off the throttle.

The leaner AFRs from 3500 to 4000 you will need to richen up that load area.

The WB has to be always powered if you keep the sensor in the exhaust stream as there is a heater. If not it will die quickly.

yep its wired to the ignition so when the key is on so is the WB,
I am trying to start tuning soon and wanted to have confidence in the AFR's
would the position of the WB in the downpipe matter much????
its located just after the oil sump at around the 2 o clock position.
thanks for all the help.

Wow I am so surprised at your answer.

I knew that was your problem. Just wanted you to confirm it.

This is inherent of that filter. Get a K&N cone and your AFR's should be in better shape.

I am running my evo 5 on an evo 8 ecu and thought that was the problem but when I switched back to the stock ecu it was only a little bit richer not much,
so i thought it was the WB02,
I might try it with the stock airbox back on see what happens,
