Reputable tuner, what should I expect?
I will be using a reputable tuner to tune my IX MR. My question is what to expect and is reasonable and unreasonable for my whp and tq. on a dynojet. Now I am just looking for ballpark I don't expect to get an exact number. Parts and conditions. I have in apexi intake, Buschur licp, O2 housing, dp, tp, and greddy Ti-C, Hallman MBC, Walbro 255. Conditions 93 octane and temp should be in the 60's. Hope this is enough info to give me peace of mind when I get tuned.
DynoJets read higher than Mustangs or Dyno Dynamics. Don't be surprised if you see 350 hp, but expect less. Good luck.
24 psi should be fine, but you'll sacrifice timing. My method is to sort of ride the compressor efficiency and run higher boost down low where the turbo can handle it easily and then constantly taper to the top. It has been effective ... nice torque down low and the turbo doesn't run out of breath up top.

The taper you mentioned is close to what I run. But, you can't really dial in taper with the Hallman BC you have. Set it for about 24 psi on your gauge and let it hold that as long as it can. Defi's often read a little high, so that 24 psi will likely be 22.5 or 23, which is good.
Good because the reason I am getting this tune now is because after I added my licp and O2 housing and the temp dropped outside my boost hit 25 1/2 lbs and then fuel cut. Scared the chit out of me.
