what do you mean by fine tuning of boost?
I don't use direct boost control but everything works for me on 1.31 and yes I just did a find little and replace big on both my rom xml and evo xml. I have been just transfering my xml defs from one version to another.

Does the fine tuning of boost (not direct boost control) work with 1.31?
1.31 I believe was when the endian issues started...however personally I have no issues with it and my 2005 VIII. And yes I run the "fine tuned" one with the interval update, TBEC uses 2 byte load etc. just fine.

YMMV

Are you unistalling the old tactrix cable drivers? If you don't, it's possible to end up with 4 drivers instead of the 2. This may cause conflicts.

Assuming that this newest version of ECUFlash will run on my laptop, I'll probably go ahead and upgrade. v1.29a occasionally brings down my laptop entirely (oh the joy of Windows), and I like the recent file list in the newer versions. I think that only a few of my ROM mods are affected by the Endian bug. I'll have to look at that soon.

it is fun to view the map as a 3 dimension chart. some day we may be able to bump adjustments to the chart itself?

did you uninstall the old tactrix drivers? the new ones are: (6/27/07 2.02.04)

Mine reads: Using interface OpenPort 1.3 Mitsubishi TX34.

I've noticed most that report OpenPort 1.3 Mitsubishi TX 14 have the ECU connection problem. Not sure if this has anything to do with it but
I also have .NET Framework 2.0 and 3.0 installed.
