Car won't idle Evo9 Cosworth Cams

Ecuflash noob...need help

My car won't idle correctly with the AC on or off, it constantly goes up and down. I know i want to be using the 88590015 but i can't get it converted. i have attached a screen shot showing my current idle settings. i have searched and found the data needed regarding the cossie cams.... just can't convert to 015 file and get the scaling correct. any help would be great. my tuner is busy and can't get to it for a few days....

Ecuflash V1.33

Internal ID 88590013

Use a older version of ecuflash, like 1.29 and they should show up correctly.

However 9's should idle just fine with cosworth cams without any rom mods. You sure something isn't wrong with the install?

All the cosworth 9 cams installed at the shop purr like kittens.

Yes increase timing on idle IMHO 11-14 degrees. Also check fuel trims, might need to increase latency. Also make sure your mivec is not advanced during idle.

I keep trying the new versions that come out, and immediately go back to 1.29. And like Bryan said, my 9 with cosi's had no idle tweaks at all and purrs. Make sure you dont have advance between 0-30 load up to 1500 rpm in your mivec table. Adding timing in mivec will give you a lopey idle. Im running 5 degrees timing in my normal maps in the idle range.

ok changed that in VVT Map 1 main. the other timing maps High octane 1-3 and Low octane 1-3 have 5 degrees up to 1000rpm, 10 degrees at 1250rpm, 15 degrees at 1500rpm. so do i need to make them all 5 degrees in the idle range on all of those maps between 0-30 load or 0-40?

Thanks

That looks ok...between 0-30 or 0-20 is more in the idle range. You could drop the 1250 but I would leave the 1500 alone. Either that or here is ss of my timing in the low range, if you want to copy that.
