What did you do to disable the boost limit, did you just set the timer to 9999999

At peak load and when WG opens, the dip ussually occurs since that is what the airflow is doing.

I had the same two peak profile with load and IPW. The airflow will still be increasing due to RPM but follows the same pattern.

When I removed all air sources to the WGA I had one nice smooth load peak.

And that is what you did with the boost limit - basically removed some air to the WGA at peak.

Are you sure that boost limit does this. I though it was strictly fuel cut if boost exceeds a preset amount.

Here is another log. I multiplied the boost by 10 to give greater resolution. So 240psi on the graph means 24psi.

The orange line is WGDC. Is that airflow curve normal?

I am trying to further tune the WGDC but I can't figure this one spot out.

The boost goes from 22.7 to 24 in 100RPM's with no change in WGDC. Why is this?
I just can't seem to make this curve any smoother.

The highs/lows are scatter in the data. I see that as well. Best to draw a smooth line through the data. It would be good too if you could increase the logging speed by unchecking all unneeded parameters, disabling "log to screen", and enabling "logger super speed" (or whatever its called).

What happens if you increase the BWGDC a bit between 3700 and 4700 rpm?

I also have a ZT2 which can log boost, I will try using that also if you think it is a scatter issue. I have logging to screen already off and super speed enabled as well.

I also try to log only what I need, but that winds up being quite a few parameters.

I can try upping the WGDC a bit from 3700 to 4700, I just don't want to spike too much as with these settings it will sometimes spike 25psi.

Could you post the actual logs? What does your TBEC table look like? Is the Error correction set to 1? Are you using direct boost control with the pill? Or are you using load based boost control with the pill?

I am using direct boost control with a GM valve, I have no restrictor pill in place at all.

Here is a directory with 3 logs (these logs had the TBEC of the attached map)

LOGS WITH TBEC ON

Here are some logs with TBEC turned off (zeroed out)
LOGS WITH TBEC OFF

Do you think using a pill would help smooth things out?
