ecu boost controll help needed...log included

I've been trying to set the boost on by zero'ing out the TBEC and got the wgdc to hit about 21-22psi on my boost gauge. not sure how accurate that is but it's all i really have. I modified my evo IX rom image for variable boost, 2byte mut load, lean spool enable/disable. when i log it hits a max of 319 load at different points in the powerband. I've been trying to figure out what's going on but can't seem to figure what exactly it is. I can't seem to get it done unless i enable the tbec.

Those spikes are just errorin the logging of 2byte load. It happens. I dont think the ECU sees those values.

ok....so as far as setting up the bdel to follow my curve i just take the actual load i'm seeing and subtract that by 159.4? ex) @ 4000 rpm i see 243 load - 100 (my current bclo) so new BDEL is 143. is that correct for that setting? as far as setting TBEC how would i adjust that to follow the boost curve or wgdc map

Your right about setting the load, if you mean subtracting 100, what your BCLO is.

About the TBEC table, try the stock settings, if it corrects too much, lower the amount of WGDC corretion (right side of the table) that gets pulled/added.

Now that you have set the boost variable to use timing/fuel 2byte load then yes you closely match the 2byte load curve. Example: 255 load at 4000 rpm would be BCLO = 100 and BDEL = 155

The little spikes you are seeing in your load is normal 2byte logging error, i see it all the time.

I just got back from the Redline event and will take a look at the logs you sent me tomorrow.

well i've been messing around with the tbec after i adjusted the bdel it seems to hold fine in third gear to about 22psi or so but as soon as i hit forth or fifth gear it spikes to 24-25 and drops down to about 17 and back up to 21 psi and is steady.

the TBEC tables is confusing, but my efforts are almost there i think.
I forgot where i read, but is the negative numbers on the right side of the tbec table to lower boost on higher gears? and the higher the value is for increasing boost. I guess i'll just have to relook for more posts on this. or if someone can put it in lemans term that'd be great. haha
