Sorry for the brief threadjack but Lucas found a new P0300 fix for the 05's than basically does the same thing.

The ROM is labelled as a 96940013, but it can be defined as an 11 and it shows everything perfectly.

I have found with quite a few of the cars I do that some seem prone to the p0300 where others do not. Things to check include:

Idle timing is not really high
Coils arent ancient
Clutch/TOB isnt rattling

There seem to be quite a few different ideas as to specifically what sets it off but I honestly cant say because I havent had a problem with it. There might be some relation the ECU peripheries that I am using and how I have them set up. I am willing to take a look as well.

lower your timing... raise your idle to about 1000 to 1100...

Well I would take those 13 & 10's out since the car actually doesnt idle there anyway. Evo's idle at about 25-30% so I would raise the line of 6's there to 8's max then go to the ISC table and in the 77 and 82* area where its now at like 22 and 20 steps bump them to 80 or so. A stock IX is 100 by comparison. I would try that and see if it "stays" fixed. If not I happen to have the even newer version of the P0300 fix (the 96940013) you could transfer everything over onto if you wanted. I really think that the P0300 is a side effect of being modified, like an error table we cant always see. I know of a few IX's that as soon a tuned map went on them they would kick out the CEL and put them back to stock and they were fine.

Well unfortunately there isnt a finished xml for the type 13 yet. I am still working on making sure everything is the same. I associated it as an 11 in ECUflash and while it shows up and all I am comparing all the addresses between the 11 and 13. Start with that stuff I just mentioned though and see if helps get rid of the P0300.
