Evo 2byte Airflow changes
Isn't the Load_Evo9-FPGreen a little low for an FPGreen?
I can easily hit 300-315 2Byte Loads on my stock 05 turbo...
If memory serves me correctly, I was hitting low/middle 1900hz on the Airflow as well.
I guess I just thought to see high load numbers with high(er) airflow numbers.

2byte airflow
hmm this is pretty interesting. I am seeing lower 2 byte airflow. I maybe have the wrong numbers in my .hex. What did you change the low and high bit in the map to?

On my personal evo, I see a little over 300 with 100 oct and 26psi+.
Guess your car is just teh fastar!

Interesting,
Using this on the 15 roms:
3EE8E and 3EE92
changing the values from 27177 and 27176 to 27550 and 27551
<table name="2 byte Airflow High" category="Misc" address="3EE8E" type="1D" level="1" scaling="Hex16"/>
<table name="2 byte Airflow Low" category="Misc" address="3EE92" type="1D" level="1" scaling="Hex16"/>

Same as you changing them to 27550 and 27551

<table name="2 byte Air Flow low bit" category="Misc" address="3ee92" type="1D" level="1" scaling="uint16"/>

Charlie, the car is only seeing 1463 max? Something seems off cause when we tuned it your load was 292 peak so your Hz had to be somewhere in the neighborhood of 1300 at peak torque as I recall. I will go back and check some of the logs. The car hit clip (before 2 byte days) lowest of any car I have yet tuned with a stock turbo.
I am off to do some homework.

Well, I wish I could say that now, I am having to detune it because it was simply just too high strung.. When the weather got colder, the car went up almost 1 point in afr just because of the air density changes. The car started running like crap, backfiring and missing, trying to run 29.5 psi with 4 degrees at peak torque and an AFR of low 13's wasn't helping the car too much... He he... Recipe for disaster?
Peak boost was hitting 29.5psi, 93 octane and I was looking at 4th gear logs.

None of the cars in the plots posted in this thread so far run even close to 29.5psi.

I think the highest in the plots is 24psi.
I assume that 29.5psi and 13afr is also with alky?
Here is what I have. 4 back to back logs of two Evos with the mods listed and the boost recorded. Very interesting that the car with the higher boost had less airflow due to the restrictive cat. These are average numbers. Peak numbers are slightly higher.

Thanks JB I appreciate it. The car feels the same as it did previously. I am going to send you some recent logs to take a look at check your email. I am still hitting 290ish 2 byte load on pump gas. The airflow is just not matching up. Something is up at pk tq I am at 553 lol
