p1104 p1105 codes and running rich
p1104 p1105 codes and running rich
I own I 2001 3g eclipse that is boosted with an ecu flash rom from and evo 7. Its about 90% tuned but heres my issue.
I got my fuel trims at -1 low, 1 mid and 0 for high. But for some reason at partial and full throttle after 2500 rpm is runs so damn rich that there is no power and falls on its face at 4k. All the runs arnt consistant, on the first few runs no more than a 1 count of knock. After about 3 or 4 runs no matter if partial or WOT I will peake everytime at 36 counts in the mid 3k range. Fuelm trims are right on but for some reason in both open and closed loop it does this. I have a CEL on the EVO7 patch and get the codes p1104 and p1105. When I look those up they could mean different things.
First set I found is
P1104 Turbocharger Wastegate Solenoid Malfunction
P1105 Fuel Pressure Solenoid Malfunction (Turbo)
and second set is
P1104 MAF Ground Malfunction
P1105 Dual Alternator Upper Fault
Now when I used a code scanner I get
P1104 manufacture control
air fuel metering
P1105 manufacture control
air fuel metering
IS that patch throwing the wrong codes? IS this causing my impossible tune situations?
I know the maf is good, third one I put on and checked
