Jeebus, I think he meant twin disc...I am straight I swear .... hehehe

I already have the timing back up to where it should be or close. The car definitely pulls like it used to. Well at least before the last few races of the year when the tranny was obviously hurt.

I will not detail how the knock sensor was disabled, but it was via the stock ecu. NO ONE including me, needs to do this on a regular basis. I was doing it just because I operated on a hunch, know how to read my plugs and was smart about what I was doing so I woulnt hurt the motor.

I repeat it is NOT A GOOD IDEA UNLESS YOU KNOW 100% for sure that there is knock that is not detonation. Do not research it, you wont find it here and I will not answer any PM's that have anything to do with that subject either.

Just stumbled on this thread...and it seems to confirm what I though and that is phantom knock even out of boost. My clutch feels really soft and the TOB made some weird noises a few weeks ago and then went away. Also seems like fuel and timing changes made no difference in those cells.

Luckily the Exedy Twin is on the way and going in this weekend.

Thanks for the info

Thats exactly what I had discovered as well. Timing and boost changes made no difference, I dont have a built motor, so I knew it had to be phantom knock. I just couldnt decide what was causing it until I had the clutch swapped out.

Sorry but I couldn't resist...
Did it pull when you wanted it to?
Does it shift hard for you?
Can you tell a difference with your @ss dyno?

Sorry I couldn't resist the jokes.

LMAO! That guy will never hear the end of that one. Hopefully it's not too harsh on your back.
