I got my zeitronix zt-2 hooked up, bought a radio shack serial-usb converter, installed drivers for it, and have had no luck with it working.
Ive tried changing com ports and everything, i cant get it to log. I rechecked all my ecu wiring and its all correct.

Anyone had any luck with the radio shack cable? What cable do you guys use? thanks.

What program are you using, i got the radio shack cable today as well and my logworks program is perfect, (LC-1) but my evoscan 2.0 wont log afrs, its showing a 4.8-4.9 value, but you cant review the file?

 

What COM port is your USB adapter assigned to? Go to control panel hardware and check the virtual COM port.

Did you choose the lc-1 option under the wideband tab up top?

 

Yeah used Lc-1 and port 7 which was recognized, I went ahead and started another thread for now?

 

I tried the RS cable with my Zeitronix and it didnt work either. Went to a Mom and Pop computer store and got one for $9 that works great.

 

Sewell and Dynex are verifiex converters that work. Available at BestBuy and SewellDirect.com.
