Well as said before John, if you decide to port it to 90550001 (e7 rom) then I and I am sure several others will test it, and give you feedback on it.

I know you don't want to port it over, unless there is real interest in it, however that said this time last year (in the uk atleast) ecuflash wasn't very well known, and there was 2 or 3 of use using the 7 and 8 ecu's in earlier cars.

Now look at it

If there are several, then that sounds like a good candidate to do next.

Well I will test, I am sure barryc will test it, marcel (burgers22), bondango and sub7 have all said he would like to test it, as have a couple of others on the MLR.

By the way. Did somebody know if I can use the 90550001 instead my 99860002 EVO VII Rom?
Which one is newer? My car is 04/2002.

Yes you can, you might have to swap pins 8 and 22 around to allow the car to start, as 99860002 is an FQxxx rom and is using an Evo 7 RSII ecu instead of the GSR version (only difference I have noticed is that sometimes the 2 pins need to be switched around).

Not sure which is newer, but 90550001 is a Ralliart Rom (V5.10 has the nice extra's from tephra).

Ah, ok.
Pin 8 named: A/C relay
Pin 22 named: Fuel pump relay 2, in the wsm

I have already done some modifications on my rom, but I feel so alone with my rom.

Maybe I try this conversion.

Yeh thats the 2 pins.

iirc it's something to do with the way the immobiliser is wired in.

John, I do appreciate the live mapping patch for the IX a TON. Unfortunately work and life have taken off, and I feel like I haven't had a free minute in the last 3-4 months... let alone time enough to do some serious testing and tuning. I still hope to implement it as soon as I get a chance, and I'm anxious to see results. Keep up the good work!

I know you have done some work on your ROM for E85, from what I have seen the code is very similar, in all ROMs for the VII, it just moves a little in its offsets. Does your car have SAS and AYC? If so it will be very like a JDM car, mine is a JDM car and runs fine on 90550001.

The first thread was an original non-DMA release from last year.

This thread was about an idea to develop editing using Ecuflash.

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=367518 this most recent thread contains a release for 88590015 with fast DMA logging and realtime mapping.

I'm presently working on deciphering Bez's 88590015 speed density patches, but I have noted the interest in JDM Evo 7.
