Mitsulogger requestID file Question

I was wondering if someone wouldn't mind sending me their requestID file from Mitsulogger that is updated to include JDM Map and 2-Byte Load. I would really appreciate it if someone could do this for me.

Any takers?

I don't have a jdm map sensor but i do use the 2 byte load. here is what is in the xml to get that.

<Request LogReference="requestID00" RequestID="00" Eval="x" Unit="Int" Logged="y" Response="2" Notes="Used for 2 Byte Load"/>
<Request LogReference="requestID01" RequestID="01" Eval="x" Unit="Int" Logged="y" Response="2" Notes="Used for 2 Byte Load"/>
<Request LogReference="Load" RequestID="FF" Eval="((256*requestID00)+requestID01)*10/32" Unit="2byteLoad" Logged="y" Response="2" Notes="2 Byte Load"/>

Where exactly is that code placed in Mitsulogger?

You can put it below the line that says "Place all custom requests below this line" or something like that. You can probably put it at the end of the file.

For JDM MAP you just modify your requestID 38 and make the eval what it said in the HOWTO. something like .19 * x - b where b is your atmospheric pressure in psi

But under the "place all custom requests below this line" is a paragraph of instructions I suppose, do I put it above that or below it?

I checked my requestID.xml file.

Those lines I added before the line

Code:
 </ecuitems>

So for 2 byte load, all I need to check off in Mitsulogger is 3 things, requestID00, requestID01, and Load right?

At this point, I can go ahead and uncheck the original Load calculation that mitsulogger provided right?

Do I still have to insert the scaling, 14v and, 11v battery voltages?

Yeah you can uncheck the original load.

I'm not sure what you're talking about with the battery voltage. The 2-byte load doesn't use battery voltage so you don't need to log that.

I am referring to the numbers you put in on the left side of mitsulogger, under the injector scaling it asks for 2 latency values, the 14v and 11v ones. Do they still have to entered if I'm going to be using 2 byte? Is 2 byte more accurate?

You should leave them whatever they were at, unless you have different injectors. I couldn't help you with that. But those numbers don't affect 2-byte load.

And yes 2-byte load is more accurate. It's the load number the ECU reads to determine what values to read from the maps in the ECU
