Out of curiosity, what did you have your valet rev limit set to?

So the rom is working on your Evos with the immobilizer turned off or on?

I wonder why I couldn't get mine to work.

Do either of you run JDM map sensors?

 

immobilizer is turned off. And no, no JDM sensor.

 

If we can get repeatable successful results, then what are the differnces between this EDM ROM and the USDM Rom? Are the OBDII tests/codes the same? EGR? Etc...

 

Well I must have been hitting the auto valet earlier, I reloaded the rom with options disabled and it worked! Turned on Alt maps, nlts, and knock cel and its still working! As if by some cruel twist of fate, I ripped the ShXt out of my jeans as I left my office, so at the gap quick for a pit stop

I am freaking pumped to wire up my harness...

 

I just got a text message from Scheides saying that his car is alive and well and the Tephra-mods are working!

Awesome. Looks like we may have a winner. I'm going out shortly to do a full datalog and make sure everything is reading right.

 

I just posted this in the other thread. But, over the next few days or weeks, if you are still using this ROM, use Scantech to read the OBD II readiness tests to see if all of the tests are working and passed.

Good news, we have two confirmed cases of this ROM working. Does anyone have an OBD-II scanner (maybe the one from AktiveMatrix?) to see if OBD-II functionality is still there? (Edit: Eric beat me to it. )

Does scheides have a JDM MAP sensor, by any chance?

 

I do not have a jen map sensor. I also have my EGR removed, but am not getting a cel from that, and have not yet disabled it per mrfreds instructions on this rom. Does the euro car have an EGR?

 

So I went around the block, and logged some info. 2Byte is way off. Can someone double-check I am not missing something.. Its been a long day for me. I work 430am-1pm.

I added the 3D MUT Table(address = 36200), and made 898A & 898B(LOAD, addresses 00 & 01) & 8962 & 8963 (RPM, addresses 02 & 03)

HELP!

 

I'm 99.9% sure there is no EGR. The ROM won't be looking for it so won't give a cel. As far as I know no one has bothered figuring out 2Byte for this ROM.
