Anone looked at an Evo X MAF yet to see if it might be less restrictive than an VIII/IX MAF? If so, lets start the fun of doing the conversion!

 

I haven't even looked under the hood of an Evo X yet but the stock MAF on an VIII or IX is good for over 500awhp. Unless you are over that then do we really think the X MAF would be the answer? Just food for thought. Interesting idea though.

Evo X is a hotwire, so realistically it would be easier to go to a Ford or GM...or at least the same difficulty. Of course we dont know what the hz range of the new MAF is so I should probably be quiet.

 

Interesting. I was just thinking of this because on Sunday I pulled my MAF out and as really studying just how much crap there is inside of it to inhibit smooth airflow (I was cleaning it out along with my airfilter). I was thinking of the X MAF when I was looking at all of the new Bushur parts for the X and was wondering what it looks like on the inside.
