Disable clutch down to start car functionality

Hey, I recently installed Tephra's NLTS ..which works great btw

however i have a remote start so initially i had the clutch switch disconnected physically...anyone know of a way in the ECU to disable that?

where even though the cable is connected, the ECU bypasses that and will start start the car without pressing the clutch??

thanks.!

so my thought is that this "car wont start without clutch down" thing could be a "bit flag" from the 0xFAA flags.

so do some research on aktivematrix.com - there is a big thread about the bit flags. someone might have already discovered it.

the clutch no start switch and the nlts clutch switch are two different animals.
you can have both without doing anything special.

Agree. I have had my safety switch disabled from day 1. I was one of the first to test Tephra's NLTS patch and it worked and has been working fine ever since without my safety switch connected.

By safety switch, I mean the clutch switch that, when connected, disables you from starting the car unless the clutch pedal is depressed.

if i'm not mistaken, there are two clutch switches, the bottom switch that prevents the car from starting, and the top switch that is used for NLTS.

The only thing is if you have a 2-step launch in your car, it needs the bottom clutch switch to trigger it operational.
