installing a remote start in my evo 8 is there away to disable the immobilizer? I only have one key for the car, and don't want to buy a (flcan) bypass
I have ecuscan is there a setting I can use to disable the factory immobilizer?

 

Flcan wont work for evos good sir, only a 556u if i recall correctly. Yes there is a way to disable it from ecuflash, I think its actually labelled immobilizer.

 

Do you think it's such a good idea to disable the immobilizer though?
