Problem initializing ECUFLASH with car!!!

Problem initializing ECUFLASH with car!!!

I obviously did all the appropriate steps.. ignition to on pugs in.. I even tried the ECU UNLOCKER... Says ECUFLASH is connected but wont read from the ecu.. is anyone else having problems with connecting to a 9 ecu?!?!?!? Anyone have suggestions.. pointers tips ANYTHING..

this sounds silly but i hope your batter is fresh. i've encountered this issue once when connecting with ecuflash

Had this happen last night actually, scared the crap out of me lol. I had a bad flash, had some xml that was wrong. Couldnt flash the car back and it wouldnt start either. Tephra suggested to put your key in but dont turn it to on position. Get ecuflash ready, hit your read or write button, and when the connection box pops up dont press it. Hover your mouse over it, then turn the key and click the box at the same time. This way ecuflash is trying to init before the ecu does anything else and it worked for me.

nm ya battery is problem, you posted right as I did. Car needs 12 volts to start, and writing to the ecu takes some voltage. Charge that bish.

or if you have a trickle charger, hook it up before connecting the ecuflash to make sure u hit 12v

Nah i only have the typical plug into wall charger.. its connected now and chargeing.. gonna give it an hour

i know your problem is solved but sometimes if its cold like 30-40 degrees it will not allow you to flash the car atleast thats how it is for mine
