Or any other Guru's of course

Can you make a mod to fix the VIII's p0300 issue? This is the one that some users have to use the C-reader to get rid of that is probbably caused by some type of vibration. Like in enginuity / rom raider where you can just permanently turn off a code.

tephra. its a random mis-fire. its caused by lighten flywheels (thats why i've come to believe). its really annoying too. if you could make a patch to disable the code all together or somethin that would automaticaly clear it that would be AWESOME . its really annoying have to have my laptop out everytime i go for a long drive cause that stupid thing comes on.

Make sure the egr valve hasn't become unattached to the vacuum line. Its a common issue. I've fixed 4 of them on evos here in Houston this month and that was the issue. The line just comes off sometimes.

Has anyone else noticed that when the periphery 2 is set to 0x8D89 the rate of P0300 seems to drop? I havent ever had a misfire code in my car in nearly 29k even with all the different mods that I have. However one of my friends with an almost stock MR had P0300 as soon as I flashed the car, that would go away when it went back to a stock map. He sold it before I even thought that there might be a connection. He lived in an emissions area so I didnt turn any of that stuff off on his car.

Worth a try for those that have chronic problems maybe.
