Looking for input on my logs

I did a few pulls the other night wondering what people thought of my logs. I need some input on how the fuel is looking. THanks

why do you have A/f dip into the high 10s from 4200-to 4600? Timing is very tame just about everywhere and I would hold that 11.6 a/f till redline but thats me. Some like to taper by redline but your still to rich from 5k up. Its a good starting point though

timing is how conservative? other than the upper end being rich, the rest looks fine?

What are the mods and how much boost? Is the load figure that you have 2 byte or calculated? Fueling should try to be fairly consistent to keep torque even across the board and keep power up as well.

Generally 11.5-11.7 is safe at high boost on pump.

Stock turbo can be safely run at 25-26psi on 92-93 with the timing you are running.

Oh and your lean spool is still on. I can see it right at 7150 go REALLY rich.

ur good. Lean spool is on (haven't seen any pros/cons to it), open air filter, 880s walbro, dp, catfree, mbc. Im running 93oct. Its set to 25psi. I do have 2byte load flashed. Thats the load value in the logs. 06 mr. What would agressive timing look like?

What up jig!! I agree with kreionic. Lean it out a little to 11.6 and add some timing.

If you want to view the log in excel, just change the extention to .xls when you save it to your computer.

what up! First post huh. lol. Thats what i was figuring. I'm also curious how conservative my timing is. No one said anything about it being to lean in the low end.

Your timing is conservative because you are only running 1 degree at peak torque, and 11 up top. I run more on 91 oct.
You are knocking the entire pull. I would drop boost down a lil, lean out the AFR like everyone is telling you, the dial in more timing.

Chuck I thought the same thing but its not knocking the whole log. The knock is on the otherside, when it went to txt format it threw everything off a column or two. Its scattered 1's and 2's.

Agressive with a stock turbo at 25psi is 5-6's at peak torque and then 14 or so by redline. On the IX's you can do some things with MIVEC to stave off knock. Stock turbo and stock cams I used to see 285-290 at 25psi, threw in an HKS280 exhaust back in the day and it would hold 300 down low really well. With a bigger turbo it hits the same load but higher up now, so I dont really have mine rescaled over 320 but you can kind of see the idea in this old one:

Its an 05 VIII that I rescaled along time ago. It was having some knock issues (and a stock LICP) but even then substitute the 2's (@3000-3500 rpm and 270-300 load) for 4's and thats how the map should have looked.

I didn't think i saw much knock either. But here are my ignition and timing maps. Do i have to make both fuel maps the same?

I would seriously lean it out a bit. The knock could be from running too rich. otherwise it looks pretty good.
