Thats why I went one step at a time. I should have my evo X map sensor in this week. I'll get that running and logging. Then - I will finish the SD install and yank out the MAF. Where did you mount your AIT?

I have Buschur's FMIC and SS hard pipes and I wonder if it is thick enough I can tap it to get the GM AIT to thread well enough to seal. And I can't find a 3/8th's SS nut or bung to weld on.

How much richer JB? Honestly what I did was take from like 4000 rpm + and like 160 load + (the whole bottom corner) and flashed it all like 11.X-1. And cut lean spool off at 4000 rpm. Then I turned the A/F tracking on - set its range +15% -10% and made it activate real fast. I think it would solve your problem rather painlessly. With lean spool off the car was horridly rich. So I got it back in the neighborhood of where I wanted to be / then turned A/F tracking back on.

Voila... done.

I ended up getting a GM MAF and running like that for awhile until the MAF sensor **** itself.

BTW, Eric, the MAFTPro can do speed density, the MAFT does translation only.

BlueEVOIX, that is basically what I am doing. I have a JDM 3bar MAP that is taking the place of the stock MAF sensor.
Oh lol. I'm still in the learning game and didnt know/realize speed density was another name for MAP lol. I was thinking speed density = another name for blow through maf or something...

Ok it makes sense now.

That's excellent news for the MAFT Pro! Is the IAT sensor just a regular GM IAT? If so, I can save $115 and just use my JDM MAP and the GM IAT I already have.

Of course, it's still more expensive than using the stock ECU

We are running the MAF Translator on a friends evo. He loves it. I know the 3" GM maf can go well into 700whp as a friend of mine did it years ago.

The MAFT Pro is nice. I run it. I've done wideband feedback and it works well.

If anyone reading this wants a MAFTPro, I'll let mine go for $250.

Correct.

Bob has been stellar about adding whatever revisions we think will work best for it.

Thats a steal.

Even if its just the box / with no wires you can get all the odds and ends easily from FT.
